Give Me Hope Charity Foundation, a non-profit organisation (NGO), has successfully sought justice for a woman sentenced to prison by a court after she failed to pay up a fine of GHC 1800.

The mother of three children named Selina akyerewaa was sentenced to two years in Nsawam Female Prison.

According to Wisdom Dordoe, Founder of Give Me Hope Foundation, the foundation has paid off the GHC 1800 fine for the woman and managed to secure her release from prison.

The action by the Foundation will help her to give her children the motherly care they need.

The Foundation took her to her hometown where she was warmly welcomed. 

The Foundation with the help of their lawyers also sought juctice for Madam Rita Tetteh who was three month old pregnant at the prison to deliever home. 

She later named her son after the founder of ‘Give Me Hope Charity’, Wisdom Dordoe. 

Mr. Dordoe has called on State institutions and philanthropists to support their course to seek justice for children.
